I have to say I was not expecting the fabulous accommodations when I reserved this hotel. I was simply staying out of convenience to my son's home and traveling on my own. I liked that it is directly across the street from Northfields tube, on the Piccadilly Line; easy access to everywhere. However, when I got to my room, I was greatly surprised. It was huge, redone, 3 beds, a lovely desk; plenty of room for me for hair care and vanity. It had a kitchenette, and was next door to the breakfast room. The breakfast was beyond the normal cold buffet that is standard for this grade hotel. Cheeses, hams, cereals, yogurts, coffees, teas etc....Really lovely. The bed was more comfortable than I've had in higher standard hotels. The walk in shower was wonderful; hot, roomy, great pressure... and a heated towel bar. I've taken the time to write this lengthy review because I feel more often people focus on the negative comments rather than the positive.The staff were lovely and helpful and friendly. As I visit my family often...I will definitely be returning to this surprising establishment. :}

Location extremely convenient, being opposite Northfields station. After reading other reviews we asked for a quiet room and were given one that didn't overlook the tube train tracks. Our room was on the opposite side of the building to the trains, and we couldn't hear them at all. We were overlooking a side road so the traffic from the main road wasn't intrusive either. As a bonus we had a balcony accessed by a French door. The room was on the south-facing side of the building and even with the curtains closed, the room did get hot but there was a/c to cool it down when we came back at night. Although we don't like using a/c because it is just one more thing towards climate change. The staff were very responsive by message before we arrived, when we were asking for a quiet room etc, and also very helpful when we were staying there. There was 24/7 reception desk that was reassuring.

It's a great location for exploring London, but also if you want to take a break from the crowds of the big city for a while. The Picadilly line subway station is literally across the street, and this is the line that leads to many of the main tourist attractions. In addition, there are several cafes and restaurants close to the hotel (Sikulo, Mo's, Poison Ivy Cofee and Element Cofee) - we had breakfast and a few dinners there

The hotel is well located, being about halfway between Heathrow airport and the West End. We stayed here for two nights when we arrived in England then went elsewhere for several weeks then returned for a longer stay. We also stayed here last year. It is very close to the train station and has very helpful pleasant staff members. If/when we're next in London we'll certainly consider staying here again.

Staff was extraordinarily friendly and very helpful in accommodating my dietary needs (celiac’s disease). The hotel is ideally located between Heathrow and the city of London, so it’s a short ride with the underground in both directions. The station is opposite of the hotel. The facilities are absolutely in order for the price of the room, the room was clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable.
